A life of drugs, alcohol, hustling, turning tricks, pulling scams, hospitalizations, working at go-go bars and moving from one place to another (New York City, Los Angeles, London, Berlin, New Orleans, San Francisco during 1976-1993).

Notes: Monastrell Books is Gene Gregortis' own imprint. Gregorits had developed the book based on his experiences as a nightwatchman at a Harrisburg, PA YMCA and as an emergency room security guard at the Harrisburg Hospital, during 1996 and 1997. Lydia Lunch began writing sections for the book in 2000, and when she and Gregorits broke up in 2002, the book also was torn in half. Unpublished and unread for over 12 years.
