Note: Start of the Bad Seeds' 9 date UK tour, which takes place without 2 of its members, Blixa and Barry. Rowland S.Howard (ex Birthday Party and then also Crime and the City Solution) replaces Blixa Bargeld who's recording the "Halber Mensch" album with Einstürzende Neubauten in Berlin and Christophe Dreher (then of Die Haut) replaces Barry Adamson who does not participate due to personal reasons. Rowland was hastily recruited literally 24 hours before the tour started and had no time to properly learn the songs. Christophe, although a good bass player, did not fit in. Thomas Wydler (then of Die Haut) replaced Mick Harvey (who switched to guitar) on drums. Thomas had, at the time, almost no knowledge of the English language and had to be instructed by Mick in, his then poor, German. Thomas nevertheless played well and is still part of The Bad Seeds to this day.
